Khorasan( region in Afghanistan). They are mostly disgruntled ex members of the Taliban. Khorasan views the Taliban as " sellouts" since the Taliban seem to want a little world legitimacy & want to make deals/ cozy up to Russia, China, West , USA , etc.......
Even if the Taliban want to moderate their views a little they have to walk a fine line & not piss off their hardcore fighters/ members.

Khorsan is one of the historic names for a region encompassing much of Afghanistan and north eastern Iran. Similar to calling the area around Syria the levant
