Honest appraisal on these.
Hit the I59's with the Project X LS Shafts. Beautiful iron head, thin top line and the silver shaft really compliments it.
First few shots were a tad thin but after that I hit down on them more and they felt so much better. The ballflight was definitely lower than my 425 irons with steelfiber shafts.
These irons are for a guy that hits the middle of the face 95% of the time. when you do the feel is really awesome. If you are over a 7 hcp, they are probably not for you.
Now for the crazy part, I crushed the 4 iron off the deck and a tee, don't think that I mishit a shot with it.
The short irons really setup for a guy that loves to work and flight the ball because they will do what they are told.
These are not the irons for me at this point of my golfing life.
My buddy's 25 year old son absolutely crushed them. He ordered a set on the spot and he is a diehard Mizuno guy.
If you have the game and want a blade like iron with some forgiveness, I suggest giving them a good look.
If you are a mid handicapper, I would stay away.
