Grand Hotel in mid-November

Thinking of a place for a short anniversary getaway in mid-November. Sunday - Wednesday, no more than 3-4 hour drive form NOLA area.
Wife mentioned the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, AL. I know a lot of people who go in the summer and love it.
But what about in November? I've never been. Is there enough stuff in November during the week to keep us interested for 3-4 days?
We've been over to Foley/Gulf Shores / Orange Beach many times but all during the summer months. We've done the Battleship several times.
Looking to see what there is to do at the hotel in November (are pools heated, it's not clear), in the area, places to eat, etc.

2 full days and thats about it. The adult pool is heated but the main pool is ice cold. Christmas lights come on the day after thanksgiving.
