Bowl Prediction: Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl vs AAC

Now that the season is about halfway over we can start to look to early bowl game predictions. We’ve got a backloaded schedule but I think we can finish 7-5 with some good luck. I think that puts us in contention for the UnionHome Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl vs AAC, maybe against East Carolina. Games before Christmas are underrated because you can get piss drunk before your family gets in town. What are your thoughts

Where is this bowl game held?

I would love to play in the Las Vegas Bowl or whatever it is called. How about a trip to Hawaii for the bowl. After the hurricane, I'm just looking to GTFO of town

I think its very important that we make a bowl. New coach can get a jump on next year. Bowl means practice that other teams dont get. Lower bowl means we can work on basic changes and just go play and not worry about the outcome

I think it alternates between Vegas and somewhere in Florida. Not sure where it’d be this year

used to be 5-7 doesnt get you a bowl

but now with 157 bowl games looking for teams, even 5-7 get bowls so im not gonna say its impossible but it should be required you cant be in a bowl unless they are better then 500 even if they have to schedules level 4 and 5 schools

That’s still basically the requirement is 6 wins. Only really changed last year due to Covid.

5-7 teams can get in if there aren't enough 6-6 teams to fill out all the slots

However, they go in order of Academic Progress Report(APR) to determine which 5-7 teams get to go

LSU was tied for 109/130 in APR last year, so don't look for us to be eligible
