I'm all for giving him a year or two to iron out the kinks. We have to fix the soft culture.

Look for immediate improvement in team effort and scheme. 9-3 ish. First two years are to be hard fought cultural change teams. Then stating in year 3 with saban approaching 75 see the possibility of taking the top spot

Kirby struggled during his first season or so, and look at how Georgia is now. Patience is a virtue.

Nah. New coach should be expected to win at least 8 games year 1, 10 wins year two

What does that amount to? We were once a dumpster fire in the 90s. Brand name doesn't guarantee wins.
Besides, Tennessee fans said the same thing when they ran off Schiano.
Just win 8-9 games for the first season and build up from there.

We are top 5 most successful programs in 21st century. A reasonable expectation should be consistently competitive for SEC and playoffs. Obviously can’t win every year, but if you don’t have expectations, go root for Oklahoma St or Utah.

Accordinging to you nega tigers, there is the talent on the team to win a championship. The current staff has new coordinators that are learning on the run. With a new staff, the same can be said. So, if the current staff is supposed.to win the ship. The new staff should as well.

1. I have never said that.
2. Imagine saying that a team has championship talent is being negative.

And two horrid seasons to show for it. The delusion is strong with this one.

LSU has so many inherent advantages and recent past success. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have high expectations. Another 5 years on 8 wins, then maybe that changes.

I don't expect a national championship in year 1 but I don't think it's too much to ask to see great improvement. 9-3 in year 1 would be good to see. Then from year 2 on I'd like to be in contention for the sec

That was my point. 8-9 wins and more effort from the players. Coaches that actually know how to make in-game adjustments, like Aranda did.
