kinda late, almost nine and had the roasted garlic hummus and crispy duck along with roasted corn grits and sugar snap peas.
Very nice. Coupla glasses of wine to go with it and I slept like a baby.
I just love this joint.

Zea is a far cry from the usual chains like Chili's, Applebee's and the like. It's not a national chain for one thing and the food is far superior from places like that. I think it's first rate for what it is. The thai ribs, pesto crusted trout, red bean soup, grilled corn grits, shrimp app and some of the other dishes I've had are prepared well and delicious. Their homemade sauces are great. I buy them there and keep them on hand for cooking.

Not according to my definition of a chain.

Its the ability of a brain, not the age of a brain, that matters.

Restaurant Chain -A restaurant chain is a set of related restaurants, usually with the same name in many different locations either under shared corporate ownership (e.g., In-N-Out Burgers in the U.S.) or franchising agreements. Typically, the restaurants within a chain are built to a standard format and offer a standard menu.

They always do well in my book. The chicken or ribs are perfect every time.

poor little boy, you just validated my statement.

I just started buying their bottled beer. I think its excellent. It's being brewed by Heiner Brau in Covington.

I wouldn't call any place a "chain" which has its own microbrewery location where you can have a beer made right there in the restaurant and that's pretty much the only place you can have it
oh, and

Therein lies the problem. No need for further discussion.
