Going for Christmas and damn their lift tickets are high. Any know a promo code or discount place to purchase?

You’re going to one of the most expensive resorts in the US during their most expensive time. The best discount you’re going to get on lift tickets at this point is just straight up buying a season pass.

Figured that. $179 a lift ticket is crazy.

Get the epic day pass and it gives you a significant discount

The resorts in general have gone to a model where they gouge the once-per-year travelers who want lift tickets (especially during holidays) and heavily discount the season pass holders.

I just have my Epic Pass auto renew every year and it is like $500. Going to PC for the first time and looking forward to it.

Pretty sure epic pass is still doing like 20% off or something. It’s not cheap but that’s your best bet I’d assume.

Agree with the people in here suggesting the Epic day pass!

Agree with the people agreeing on the Epic day pass.
Just checked out that link from a few posts above. That looks like a good deal at $70 per day plus other discounts.
Lift tickets at Park City were $95 per day about 10 years when we last went.

The key with the epic day pass is to make separate purchases for the holidays included in the blackout and another for the days that are not
So, lets say you're planning a trip, Dec 19 - 26 you would not need to add the holiday option since only Dec 26 is blacked and that thats a travel day
BUT, if you're traveling say Dec 24 - Jan 2 you would want to buy a two day pass with the holiday option for Dec 26 - Dec 31 and a separate pass without the holiday option for the other days

So Dec. 24th is not a Holiday and you wouldn't have to pay extra?

Yesterday was the last day to purchase. Plan on skiing Christmas Eve.

Nope
Holiday dates are Dec 26 to Jan 1
I ski each year on Christmas Eve and Christmas and the resorts are relatively empty.
The masses descend on the 26th.

The only downside to the Epic pass is that you're out of luck if you need a refund. Last week in Vail, we could've been refunded for days not skied if we had purchased lift tickets directly from them. The Epic passes tell you that you have coverage in case you need to cancel, but the fine print says otherwise.

To this I would mostly agree but we had a different experience. We bought three day epic passes but the mountain delayed their opening. If you go directly through the Vail resorts call center, they will tell you no refund. What we did was go directly through someone at Park City Mountain and he refunded us the three days worth. he totally understood and although I would not count on that, I think we got fortunate. I was too stupid to realize that not skiing because the mnt wouldnt be open wasn't a legit possibility,
