She had a picture on Facebook about it. This is not BS story, just reporting what she told us. Sorry no pictures, she is single though. Lives in Citrus Ridge gated community.

Asphalt doesn't have any specific time that it needs to sit like Concrete. There's no chemical reaction occurring. If it's cool to the touch, it's fine to drive on. I'm monitoring a paving operation while I type this.

but wouldn't driving on fresh asphalt make black tire marks on people's concrete drives? That would look terrible.

If it's still warm, yeah. But asphalt cools relatively. The tar is cool, then it won't track. Just touch it. If you don't feel any tar on your fingers, then move the barricades.
The only reason they would keep it closed is the contractor has to warranty it, sms would rather it be the same temperature as the surrounding ground.
I've driven on warm asphalt without any problems. How do you think they pave the top lift? Trucks drive on it to the paver

Citrus Ridge is a large mobile home park in Davenport, FL (Polk County). The roads in that neighborhood are not maintained by the State or County. They are private roads funded by the neighborhood association.

I live in Polk County as well. The roads in our neighborhood were done last month. Plenty of notice is given (we had door hangers and signage). There is no way they were told zero driving for 24 hours. Only caveat was to not park on the street and avoid stopping on the asphalt for any prolonged time for 24 hours.....oh btw MAGA.
