Yes, lol. And it was on my mind too. That elderly black guy directing me to the open booth said "good afternoon". I responded back with a boisterous "great, how are you today sir?" And I gave a "enjoy your day" when I walked out, lol
this guy gets it.

Hell no!!! I'm intentionally going to an all-black neighborhood to vote with my MAGA apparel on; the brothas & sistas will fricking love me.

Huh? Why would you feel that way?
The lady who took my ID was black. I was the only person there to vote so I stood there and joked around with her for 5 minutes. Then when I was done we played basketball for a few minutes
People are fun. If not, forget em. But no need to feel awkward around someone who you haven't taken the time to learn about.

Nope. But I felt awkward standing in line next to the 20 something yo housewife wearing 7 inch heels. I was afraid after a half hour she might lose her balance and fall on me.

The old white guy made it awkward as frick. When I walked up he was like, where's your sticker? Why don't you get a sticker? I almost felt compelled to walk back and grab a fricking sticker. Buy I said I had to get back to work and he just gave me this look.
