There was a lot of poor money management passed down from baby boomers to Gen x to millennials.

Its really a combination of faults

1) You're obviously retarded.

2) Generation naming is a marketing convention.

3) The experiences of those born in the 80's to mid 90s is vastly different from those of mid 90's on.

Millennials are really at most 18-23. They barely have a voice yet.

The missing generation Y is meanwhile still pretty pissed about a decade and a half of squandering our lives, wealth, and international goodwill. And that's still being done by mostly boomers, a little x, and some Y.

This is exactly the attitude ALL Americans need to have and I hope regardless of this election people can find common ground in their ideas and political beliefs to come together as a whole and work together or everyone needs to take a step back and cut the bs us vs them attitude and tackle the most major issues primarily financial ones to wrangle in these budgets and debt. Unfortunately I hate to admit this but some of the debt we gathered under Obama was unavoidable and absolutely necessary to keep the economy afloat it was the more social spending that I feel caused a major divide and huge expenditures as such need to be reeled in and put on hold for a few terms until we can make our economy healthier before reevaluating them or finding agreeable middle grounds from both sides to roll them out

I'm not saying that. We all need to come together and fix the mess, because when shite hits the fan, we will all be in the same shite situation. Older generation admitting fault, and providing wisdom gathered from making mistakes, and younger generation helping to cut the head off the snake before it is too late. We are all Americans and I for one would like my kids to grow up in a nation similar to the one I was raised. We are all Americans, and everyone should love their country enough to put politics aside to make the best decision moving forward.

i'll use an example that i am passionate about and know a lot about. currently millennials make up e4-e7 and o1-o4 in the navy, above that is your generation. guess who just took ratings away for PC purposes? wasn't the lower enlisted and junior officers. it was your generation. guess who just decided to allow transgenders in the military? i won't give you a hint...

guess what generation is pushing back on these decisions. not yours

Are you fukn kidding me? They live with their parents. Millennials can't save shite because they have no clue what it is to sacrifice to earn something. They have bought into this free shite mentality the socialist have pushed without regard for the failed examples of socialism through the world.

Jesus, please tell me there is someone else out there besides them. We're fricking doomed.

We're just waiting for you baby boomers to hurry up and die, so we don't keep ending up with this shite you just gave us.

When we die there will be no hard working people remaining to pay for you lazy self entitled cripples. And don't count on inheriting the enormous 401k wealth that we have. All respectable boomers born in the mid to late 50's have a plan to spend it all. Good luck dip shite. Think about this, maybe we outlive you.

So total the car because the driver got a flat tire? It seems like neither party wants to bend, so instead let's bring down the whole damn thing. So be it. I've already fought a war on foreign soil, and would rather not fight one here, but don't mistake my willingness to avoid that situation for the sake of my kids, as dodging the bullet or laying blame elsewhere. Both parties are ate up with arse cancer, and the one man that wants to buck the system that has been in place which got us in this mess, and actually fix what is wrong with this country is not gonna get elected because people only want to blame each other. Is Trump the savior, who knows, but he's very different than any of the candidates we've had to choose from over the last 30-40 years. He doesn't come from a career in politics, he's hated by both sides (which should mean a lot), and the media is against him. Why is that? It's because all those folks named above are aware that he will put a stop to their corruption and theft on America, and work for the people who actually pay those people to stab us in the back.

Saving this country from what? The stupidity, self-centrism, and greed of the prior generation?

Let's get one thing straight, there are two distnnct groups of boomers, those born before 1954 (hippies and useless) and those after (never hippie). The later are typically conservative and have self discipline. The earlier are Clintons, Gates, etc who were basically what we called druggies. I belong to the later and I despise the former and would prefer to kick the shite out of them than say hello.

If Social Security had worked it's future baby boomer problem out in the 80's, when it was solvable, this country wouldn't be a disaster even with 8 yrs of Obama.

Look up how much of the budget is predetermined to SS payments now. After SS payments there is very little left, we have to borrow.
