California's GDP is vastly larger than Norway's; California's economy, around $4.1 trillion in 2024, is comparable to a major world economy (like Japan or India) and dwarfs Norway's GDP, which is estimated at around $500-600 billion (nominal 2025 est.), making California's economy roughly 8-10 times bigger in total output. While Norway leads in GDP per capita, California's immense overall economic output is far greater.

Played run downs while Overton, was hurt. Keely came in to rush the passer. He is good against the run, pass rush is nonexistent

The signing bonus for the 10th pick in the NFL Draft varies slightly by year due to the rookie wage scale, but for the 2025 NFL Draft, it was around $16 million, with the player signing a four-year, fully guaranteed deal worth roughly $26-27 million, as seen with Michigan TE Colston Loveland. Looking ahead to the 2026 NFL Draft, projections suggest the 10th pick's signing bonus will be in a similar range, possibly around $16 million, as part of a total contract worth nearly $30 million.

I’m sure they would’ve liked to have to retained him but who knows how much ND was offering? If he was getting a giant bag maybe Bama decided they couldn’t afford it because they had other holes to fill up (or renegotiate like Pierre) with more proven players
Saw somewhere we wouldn't match what Keeley wanted because they didn't consider him a 3 down player, just a pass rusher

Assuming Pierre is not going to the draft, we lost almost nothing in production. Thompkins is at worst a draw with Smith.
If Latham comes back we're super fine. If not I think Hill was already making it hard to believe Russaw was staying on the edge if he wanted starter snaps in 2026. I assume the staff would certainly loved to keep Russaw for what we thought he was worth. Ohio State thought he was worth more and told him a fit he liked better (I assume he will play edge there and not be moving WLB or MLB).
I'm more worried about the fact that Renaud is the only proven production we have at the SDE position. I think he has promise but we probably need two guys to rotate with him. May need a freshman to contribute there.
Jimmy Stein just said we are in the final group for Damon Wilson knowing he will cost $2 mil

That sounds plausible. Maybe I'm being naive but the fact that Saab, Bray, Pierre & others haven't announced anything yet leads me to believe they're staying.
Pierre still considering the NFL draft, gotta believe his report leads him back though
