You can make that argument maybe but I think it was his fault that they lost the house and the senate the last eight years.

Trump can deliver the death blow in 2 moves.
1.Deliver on his 2nd new deal for the inner cities to decrease the number of blacks that blindly vote democrat.
2.Pass Voter ID laws.
to the dems as he does it.
Two others:
Reclassify marijuana as Schedule V. Do it on his first day in office. It would be good policy and good politics.
Make oral contraception OTC. Put a delay on that (6-12 months) so manufacturers can prepare, since there are warnings and contraindications. This would make contraception access better than it ever was in the past (good for SJWs and poors) and eliminate the need to force anyone to provide it (good for conservatives). Everyone wins.

Funny part is it's actually Swahili for crooked.

He turned it into an overtly actually white party totality banking on preserving white liberal voters while chasing the shifting demographics.
But. Um. Pulled that trigger a bit early. LOL

Some? Obama is popular, liked, and seemingly well meaning. How is Obama more responsible than Hillary, who has all the motive in the world to destroy her own party? Peloton has been her willing accomplice in all this. I can't see any reason Obama wouldn't want to raise the Democratic Party to being filled with nothing but great idealists and super stars instead of corporate hacks.

No he didn't and I see no reason why he would have a motive to do so. Say what you will about Obama, but the man is an idealist who wants people to have the same opportunities he did. Hillary is a loathesome count who thinks she's the only one worthy of the office, and frick literally everyone else. I do think Obama naturally cares and wants to help people. Hillary, it's just all about power, and frick anyone who will deny it to her.
Sabotage implies intent. O was more like W. A colossal screwup who wrecked his party by messing up everything he touched.
I'm not sure O really cares about people. He has an aloof, condescending attitude.

If you had told me 8 years ago I would have to endure Obama and endure:
Homo marriage
Obamacare failure
But instead I get...President, House, Senate and Court picks...I'd have made that deal.

Obama has gutted the Democratic Party!
Nah, not him. Not even (D) politicians, IMO.
The Democrats lost because of college campus culture, smug liberalism on MSM news programs and general doucheiness of liberals.
I know this won't be a popular sentiment on this board, but Obama was a good man who couldn't do enough to change Washington.

Exactly. Yes Obama may have fricked some things up, but by no means did he directly sabotage his own party.

No, George HW Bush ran for president in 1980 in the primaries

Michelle could run in 2020 and probably win.
It's virtually impossible to prevent a President from re-election for a second term. It takes something extraordinary. Carter was a terrible President and Reagan was a master level communicator. Bush Sr. shot himself in the foot with "Read my lips" as well as the interjection of Perot into the race. Every other instance since 1980, the sitting president won a second term. Barring health issues, scandal, or something drastic in that vain, you're likely looking at 8 years of Trump.

People tell pollsters they like Obama. Their votes say otherwise.
