This article was published back in April of this year and was shared around on here a bit when it came out.

After today, it literally reads like a prophecy

quote:

Trump capturing the nomination will not dispel the smug style; if anything, it will redouble it. Faced with the prospect of an election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, the smug will reach a fever pitch: six straight months of a sure thing, an opportunity to mock and scoff and ask, How could anybody vote for this guy? until a morning in November when they ask, What the frick happened?

The article is long, but totally nails it in regards to what's wrong with the democratic party mindset today. Share it around to people who are genuinely confused about what happened.

They ask, "what the frick happened?" Then, they start spouting off more shite about race, as always.

It really is hilarious

"We were wrong about every thing this election."

2 hours later

"We know everything about what we got wrong."

e wagered correctly. Smug liberals said George was too stupid to get elected, too stupid to get reelected, too stupid to pass laws or appoint judges or weather a political fight. Liberals misunderestimated George W. Bush all eight years of his presidency.

I've been saying this for year.

The problem with "elitists" is they say "You're stupid for voting for x". Not understanding the consistency principle in psychology. You only STRENGTHEN their resolve to prove you wrong.

That's what happened in this election AGAIN. Just like it did in 2004.

At some point, they need to pick up a copy of "Influence" by Robert Cialdini.

I despise elitist pricks who think they are smarter than you.

I remember reading that article back in April. I actually kept it open in a browser tab. The Democrat mindset will never change. They regard the GOP as evil, much less wrong, and why would they work with evil to pass legislation?

I saw that on here and sent it to my brother-in-law as a cautionary tale or an explanation. I think he took it personally.

A lot of the GOP regard Democrats as evil. Just read some of the posts here for proof.

No doubt that this is a problem among American liberals, though.

Being demonized by the educational elite, mainstream media and Hollywood, all fully in bed with the Democrats, will inevitably lead to a lot of anger for non-Democrats.

Liberals will continue to be arrogant and smug with their "we are better and smarter than you" tone.

What shocks me is people I thought I knew appear to be in a different universe. They believed their bubble was inclusive, when it appears to be exclusive.

Main Street America rejected the bullshite SJW movement.

Exactly. They live in an echo chamber hearing only their smug, "enlightened", intellectual opinions. It leads to intolerance not seen other than in radical Islamic extremists.
