I mean, we know it wasn't anytime from 1866-1964, as every single one of those elections was overtly and quite violently rigged. Is all of this "rigged" hand-wringing really just referring to the past several elections? Do you remember your grandpappies ever wringing their hands over the "rigged" elections of their youth? In 1965, did your grandpappy pull you up on his knee and say, "Son, thank GAWD we have finally attempted to put an end to all of these horribly rigged elections"?
