Not necessarily. You have to actually dig into new registration trends since 2020 (big lead for Rs) and other factors.
Are these early voters reliable Election Day voters that switched to early voting (cannibalism) or are they low propensity voters who only vote occasionally (1 out of 3 elections or less) that the GotV effort got to vote early. If it’s the later, combined with new voters then there is basically zero cannibalism in the early vote.
So again, I will ask you - do you have data to back up your claim?
