My receivers are:

A Johnson
M Floyd
A Boldin

And I would still start White. You just don't bench guys like that.

If you sit Roddy White, smack yourself. He is the most targeted WR in fantasy second to maybe Miles Austin

And I have both of them!

Man I told myself not to listen to you guys...and slowly y'all are beginning to change my mind.

I mean shite, Brandon Jacobs is not even the starter and Matthew Berry loves Ryan Mathews this week.

Then there is Roddy White, god the one guarantee at WR this year week in week week out right ? But that's what I'm thinking, he can't keep doing this can he ?

THEN IT'S MATT RYAN ON THE ROAD ! He's horrible on the road.

Ughhh, No idea what I'm going to do...

Go with your gut and make a decision. It might backfire or payoff huge. Take the risk if you want.

U don't draft Roddy the 2nd or 3rd round to sit him. There's not a shittier WR u can sit and still start white & britt?

I hate this statement. You play the matchups--The QB, Defense, home/away, other options all play a factor.

I benched Chris Johnson 2x last year, and he only got 4 points in each week-and my FA RB outperformed him both times. I won overall points payout in the league b/c of that decision.

Britt,White and Moss. My 3 WR's. Favre is just gonna chunk it up to Moss routinely, all of Cowboy's coreners are 5'11. Their Safeties suck.

Jacksonville's secondary is frankly garbage. That's why I like Britt this week.

Philly's secondary had one bad game last week, but that's it. Samuel is back this week as well for Philly and its Matt Ryan on the road.

this statement proves to me you've done your research and have your mind made up.

Go for it.

He seemed to play pretty well in new orleans and tallied 23pts in our standard scoring league. So did Roddy White while Jabari Greer was chasing him around the field, who i think many experts would agree preseason that Greer >or= Samuel. The Saints are also ranked 7th against the pass, with Philadelphia 8th.

Not knocking your post or plugging the Saints for that matter. Just providing a little different perspective, which I hope you will appreciate. Ryan did have a very average day at cleveland last week so you may be somewhat correct.

Best of luck though. I'm personally thinking about benching Steve Smith(NYG) against the Lions because i think the Giants defense and run game is going to take over like they did in Chicago earlier this season. So maybe the Jacobs start will work out. I do hope however, that your prediction with Roddy White is wrong though, he's on my team

I stand by my statement about Greer, i said preseason mind you. From an article on ESPN.com ranking the best corners in the NFC South:

quote:

1. Jabari Greer, Saints. When he was healthy last season, personnel guys and coaches will tell you Greer easily was the best cornerback in the division and one of the best in the league. When he was hurt, you could see the drop-off in the New Orleans defense. Greer seems to be healthy heading into the season.
LINK

I'm not arguing who was perceived better at the beginning of the season, I was implying to the OP that lining up against Samuel won't be much of a difference for Roddy White than when he played in New Orleans.

quote:

Brett Favre
Alex Smith
Matt Ryan
Jimmy Clauson
Max Hall

Stats are stats bud. I said i wasn't be a homer and plugging the Saints or even saying they're better than the eagles. I was just showing a comparison of the two defenses to show the OP he may be overthinking the Roddy White situation. So sorry to offend

If you lose a damn game cause R White is in ur lineup just shake ur opponents hand.

It doesn't matter how many weeks in a row he scored 10+.

Moss+White=2 of the best WRers in FF why would You bench either 1 for K Britt.

I cannot understand this logic whatsoever

Look dude i don't believe you benched C Johnson for a sec. I can't stand smoke and mirror owners who over analyze every matchup. If you benched CJ you are dumb. If you bench AP your dumb. If you bench AJ your dumb and if you bench RW your dumb.(The dumb comments only count if the player is healthy)

Absolutely agreed.

My assumption is that guys like Toula who bench their 1RB or 1WR at will must be in smaller leagues.

Jacksonville is 32nd in the NFL in allowing fantasy points to WR's. Philly has a very good secondary. It's a tough call IMO.

No tough call at all
R White is an elite WRer
KBritt is a flex play at best bad move

You draft people like RW to play WRer not to guess that some other scrub will blow up.

If that is the case trade RW now and pick up a good RB, but you might bench him too!!

Roddy White is a top 3-5 WR any week against any opponent. Those guys shouldn't ever come out of the lineup. Just look at Moss in both games against the Jets with arguably 2 of the best corners in the league. You're really, really overthinking this one man
