Oh my

Got high marks for his pass blocking ability

So was Kordell Thomas

Kardell was a borderline 4 star and a 3 star on some sites

In initial rankings, Kardell was once ranked a 5 star but plummeted
I hope so

I thought he played really well against TTech this year.

Truth is, I’ve wanted Longstreet since Lane was announced. I’ve been enamored with him and St Clair out of HS last year. So I’m probably biased.

Yes that small sample size is very indicative of how he will do with LSU’s talent around him.

It’s the sample size I have to work with so it’s the sample size I looked at.

Raleek Brown, Jordyn Tyson, Cam Skatteboo … you acting like Leavitt is transferring from Prairie View A&M

SEC is now at best the 2nd best conference

It’s a top 2 conference. Stop with the at best.

Leavitt faced Mississippi State in both 2024 and 2025

His combined stats were 20 for 42 for 151 yards, 1 Touchdown and 2 INTs.

Leavitt added another 151 rush yards and 2 TDs

A third SEC game against Texas in 2024, he completed just 24 of 46 for 222 and no scores. He was without projected high draft pick WR Jordyn Tyson this game.

His 65.8 QBR in 2025 gives me pause

However, his 80.0 2024 QBR would give me hope.

About this Longstreet fella now?

So Ross would be playing next to Weeks theoretically?

How Swinson would align defensively essentially
Best player in the portal

but it’s nice to be doing the fricking

Let’s ride
Is he in a boot? Any limp? :dunno:
LSU’s new portal WR haul both ranked in the top 10 nationally in yards per catch in 2025 at 7 and 8 respectively.

Then you have Trey’dez Green working underneath.
Longstreet has been my top target outside of Sorsby and Chambliss from the start

Insane athlete that can throw the ball 80 yards. Fits Kiffin’s offense perfectly.

re: Trinidad granted waiver?

The OM on3 site certainly believes an announcement is imminent regarding Trinidad’s eligibility.
Austin Thomas was on a headset on the sideline for Ole Miss last night

He doesn’t coach a position, obviously. But thought that was interesting

Nate Sheppard

And should be an opportunity there with his RB coach leaving for Florida

Poole had two of the worst 3 point attempts in crunch time you can possibly have

Get that dude off the floor

re: Jordan Poole

How the frick does one trade for Jordan fricking Poole
quote:

He read a screen on the play and got a pass deflection.

The first two defensive snaps of the game got me super pumped

Play 1: he flew down hill and took on an Olineman, set the edge and kept his outside shoulder free and made a tackle for loss.

Play 2: Houston hit a little crease up the middle, and Spears came in and smacked the ball carrier full speed at full speed, tackling him for a modest 4 yard game.
Not having a good edge rusher hurt this team

Patrick Payton was a massive swing and miss

Pyburn was solid and physical, but not athletic enough to finish plays

Losing Reliford hurt very much. And either developing the edge position (Cobbins, Jackson or Shanklin) or finding a good one out the portal is of the utmost importance

I thought DaShawn Spears looked great

Posted by MrWiseGuy on 12/28/25 at 7:50 am
Spears, as you may know, was one of the highest graded defenders all year despite limited snaps.

I thought he played violent roaming sideline to sideline.

Maybe might not have the same cerebral-esque plays Haulcy displayed (the punch out near the GL against Ole Miss comes to mind) but Spears is going to maintain the physicality he brought to the position.
Koby Young looked athletically better than the LSU’s DBs.

I always liked him out of Holy Cross
