For a couple weeks I’ve been thinking about trying to trade for Mixon because I believed I could get him cheap and he’d eventually start performing. I guess I can kiss the idea of buying him low goodbye.

I wouldn’t sell Mixon high. They changed the way they were using Mixon this game. Mixon had a higher target share than any game last season in this game. He was finally used in space as a runner instead of just runs up the gut. He was able to make big plays in space and make dudes miss. Last thing he was also in on the 2 min drill this week, weeks 1-3 it was all Gio.
I think Taylor recognized he wasn’t setting Mixon up for success and changed the Mixon plan and it obviously worked big time. He did the same thing last year and that’s when Mixon went from bench warmer to stud second half of the season
