Both hit the wire with byes and injuries. Similar cost to keep (wright a little cheaper but negligible- getting the best player is worth more)

Both in good rushing offenses, neither top dog now but should get time eventually. Long be term play here not a need in 2024

Who do you pick up to stash: Blake Corum or Jaylen wright?

Easily Corum as I see way more upside in the rams offense than the dolphins without Tua. Also Wright has potentially 3 backs to compete for touches with (achane, Mostert, Wilson) so he isn’t just one injury away from dominating the backfield.

Counter: it’s a keeper decision, so if mostert is done in 10 weeks… is achanes handcuff more valuable than kyrens next year?

Week 7, sure, but over the long haul?

Mcvay is such a wildcard with backs… and frankly future plans for himself.

I finagled grabbing both with a timely IR stash and a little more faab than I wanted to spend on a wait and see move but we will see who sticks in a couple weeks when my bench gets tight.
