Have BOTH players. Need 9.5 to win the championship.

Who do you start?

Jones has 13 or fewer carries in 8 of last nine games, and in 3 of the last five didn’t have a single reception. Makes no sense considering how explosive he has been when they feed him. I’d go with Boone.

I look at it this way. Would you rest easier being wrong by benching a top 5 RB or some 3rd string back making his first ever start? Sometimes it’s easier to go down with your studs than kicking yourself for a dumb decision afterwards

I just feel like Boone is the safer pick to get 10 points, being that Mattison is out as well. If I needed 20+ I’d roll Jones and cross my fingers. But he has less than 10 points (PPR) in 5 games this season, maybe more in standard scoring. He has just been so unpredictable.

There is no safe pick, but Green Bay’s run defense is poor, so that’s a good place to start.

I'm facing this same decision, and this thought process has occurred to me, but you just cannot rule out Lafleur abandoning the run or giving 50% of the touches to Jamaal Williams. Jones was so safe most of the season with the receiving work, but lately it just vanishes for no particular reason. Plus, the Vikings are stingy against the run.

On the other hand, Boone is largely an unknown. Not sure how much you can rely on last week's production considering Dalvin went down mid-game. Now that they've had a week to prep, how much will they rotate in Abdullah and other backs? If Boone misses a key blitz pick-up, will they sit him for a series or two? Will he get ANY receiving work, or does he need to get it all on the ground? But the Vikes want to run and Packers are a juicy match-up.

I think Boone is the safer, moderate play. Jones has the wider range of outcomes anywhere from 4 points to 40 points

I actually had D Cook and A Jones. Jones was my Flex and Cook was RB1.

With Cook out, moved Jones to RB1 and D Moore at flex. Man, that really hosed me this week with him going down early.

I just hate Jones going straight into the Vikings run D. Thats what’s really got me thinking Boone.

Everybody who’s replied has got some really good arguments. I cant disagree with any point one way or the other. I appreciate the help!

If you lose bc you benched Aaron Jones you’re gonna have to get a new identity and friends. Maybe move out of the country to prevent the roasting that would come your way

Jones went 23/116/1 with 34 receiving yards in week 2 against them. I really think it doesn’t matter what you do as I think you get there both routes. Depends on you think is gonna win. Jones is the better player, Boone is gonna have more opportunities

Yeah, can't believe the Vikings sucked this bad. Boones been on the bench since late 2nd quarter. That was the risk with him. But theyre play calling was a joke (and Kirk cousins too obviously). He should've been a fine play

Guy in our league needed 4.9 and lost by 0.52. He played Boone and benched Jones.

We haven’t heard from him.
