In an auction league where everyone starts with $200. You have the option to keep one player. So my strategy is to keep the absolute best player on my prior year roster for the cheapest money, freeing up more money to spend on current year roster.

We started the keepers 2 years ago, and that year, I drafted Jonathan Taylor for $5 when he was in a holdout and on the PUP list to start the season.

So he was my no-brainer keeper last year. This year, I can keep him on more time for $5, or my other option is Bucky Irving for $2.

Both seem like amazing options. What would the board do? For reference, on ESPN, JT's average price is $40 and Bucky is $37.

I have JT ranked slightly higher than Bucky, the $3 difference in cost is negligible.

I’m assuming based on this sentence that you could keep Bucky for 2 more years or JT once more this year. For that reason alone Bucky is the right call.

You are right and this wasn’t an angle I was initially considering, but now, it may be the deciding factor

For sure Bucky based on being able to keep him longer for $2
