Preface...this is a Work League. It has 7 competent members and 5 tards

Trade

Thompson WAS
Robinson KC
V. Davis WAS

For

Barkley NYG

Owner trading away Barkley has Kittle.

Reed nor Davis would ever start minus this bye week or unforseen injury

Thompson is seeing his max level carries and touches and still can't dent 10 points

Robinson has gone off 2 weeks in a row...but does anyone think that is sustainable when Hill comes back and Hill + Kelce + Watkins need to be fed + Hardman also gets looks

I'm normally for letting some crazy trades fly but this to me seemed absurd.

Also frick work leagues.

No. My friend had my phone all day. Slipped out of my pocket when we went out last night.

Yes last week but not for Barkley.

Calvin Ridley + Njoku before we knew he was on IR for Kittle

And that was for a TE who has grossly underperformed ADP value vs a top 3 RB

So if someone traded ATL D for Keenan Allen...you don't think you should check that lol

I don’t play in any leagues where that would happen in, so no.

In this particular case why should you have veto power over someone else’s team. He just lost his best RB for 6-8 weeks. He’s trying to salvage his team and this may be the best offer he got....so he took it.

Im sure those 3 players are more uswful to him than barkley is until he is back week 12 and his fantasy season done

Im sure youre a swell guy in real life, but in fantasy football youre a fricking a-hole for that veto, and that goes for anyone that vetoes anything that isnt obvious cheatinf. You cant predict the future. What gives that guy a better chance to make the playoffs? Those three players or Barkley on his bench for the next 8 wks? What if Robinson continues on this trajectory and puts up WR2 numbers all year? What if Watkins and Kelce both go down in KC and its just Robinson and Hardman? What if AP tears his ACL again and Thompson gets 20 touches a week? What if Barkley isnt the same when he comes back and wont be until next season? Just because YOU dont think its fair value doesnt mean that it isnt and doesnt mean that it wont work out. It’s a long season and shite happens and the other owners within a league shouldnt be able to control anyone else’s team. That guy has every right to be pissed and I personally wouldnt play in that league the next season because your panties got soiled over what you perceive is bad value.

You shouldn’t have vetoed bottom line. Unless it’s blatant cheating, never use a veto.

Blatant cheating would be like: Baker Mayfield, Chargers D/ST for Mahomes and Kelce.

The trade you described isn’t cheating. It’s a guy who knows what he’s doing trading away three players for an injured player. If Barkley comes back in 4 weeks or he stays afloat in the playoff race until he returns then it’s a genius move. There’s plenty of risk.

Injuries happen, if Davis is being rostered, tells me the wire is pretty bare

This PPR? Cause Thompson is valuable there, and is an injury to an old arse AP away from increased work. And dude just lost the #1 pick at RB and needs help

Robinson was still playing snaps with Tyreek healthy, this could be his breakout year, and hes part of the best offense in the league.

BARKLEY IS OUT. Meaning he is putting up ZERO points in the near future. Cant save him for the playoffs if you dont make the playoffs. Bad veto.

Yes. You were wrong.

Reverse yourself immediately. I also play in a work league. What you have done is a CLM. The only solution is to issue a league-wide apology, mea culpa, and never do it again. Otherwise, you should start working on a resume.
