Our league has a 3 week playoff. Because of this, we always run into the issue of starters on the dominant teams "sitting out" during the championship rounds. I have Hurts and A.J. Brown. I'm already guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. At what point do I dump them in favor of players on a less dominant team?

Damn I would never agree to play a league that does not end on week 17. I hope it isn’t a money league

Maybe I'm confused, it sounds like he does play in a league that ends on week 17. The problem is that week 17 is the fantasy championship and players on teams that have secured a bye (in real life) won't play week 17 of the regular season.

Our league is the same way -- the NFL screwed fantasy players with the week 14 byes or we wouldn't have this issue and could bump the playoffs to weeks 14, 15, and 16.

There are 18 weeks now with 17 games. The Championship week should be Week 17, but some leagues will have multiple week matchups causing games to be played on Week 18.

Week 14 byes are definitely an issue in most leagues, but there's not much you can do to control that.

We’ve always had championship game 2nd to last week. Changed to 14 week regular season last year so byes not an issue and no week 18 impact.

I’m doing a new league this year with 12 weeks so byes affect playoff games. Thought about a trade to plan ahead but never did.
