I’m 2-1 right now, and have Melvin Gordon. Would really like to sell high on Ekeler.

Here’s my team

Lamar Jackson
Davante Adams
DJ Chark
Austin Ekeler
Devonta Freeman
Demarcus Robinson
Stefon Diggs
Le’Veon Bell
DJ Moore
Deshaun Watson
Melvin Gordon

.5 point PPR

He declined the trade. Next question is, what the hell do I do with Ekeler?

Can’t tell if that’s sarcasm or not, but why not?

Saquon is super questionable on how much volume he’ll get if/when he returns.

Fournette > Ekeler when Gordon returns.

DJ Moore is decent, but Saquon may just sit on your bench for the year. I don’t know his details other than a return isn’t soon. But you have respectable WRs right now so it’s a fair trade IMO.

ETA: you need Diggs to turn up though. As do I and I’m not confident. Any decent WRs on the wire?

Nobody on the wire. Grabbed Chark and Robinson, will have to let them start for a while. I refuse to start Diggs again until he proves he can muster more than 2 catches

Edit: upon further inspection, Tyrell Williams, Marvin Jones, and Phillip Dorsett are all there

The high ankle sprain is an injury that could linger the rest of the year and limit him even when he returns. Just the nature of that kind of injury. In dynasty he's still the most elite player there is, but in seasonal his production for the rest of the year is very questionable.

Forgot the mention that it is a keeper league, so I guess there is added value there

Fournette has had 20 passing targets to Ekelers 21. Fournette is not getting touches in the RZ and I presume that’s because Jags know their OL can’t get push.

If volume generally equates to fantasy production then I’d bank on Fournette > Ekeler with Gordon back.

But you have to finish top 2 to be able to use a keeper pick

Saquon had this same injury at Penn St. Once he returned he was better than before he got hurt.

Interesting. I’ve never been in one. That seems kind of fricked, no?

It’s our first year trying it out. We’ll see how it goes. Should give people extra incentive to make playoffs, as well as keep most of the stars available to draft. Top two gets one keeper pick each. That’s the main reason I drafted Melvin Gordon, because even if he didn’t play, getting to keep him for an eighth round pick is a steal

He rejected it, especially after the news of Melvin Gordon coming back tomorrow. What the hell do I do with Ekeler?

Keep him. He will still have a pretty prominent role especially for the immediate future IMO.
