FWIW I've used nfl.com, yahoo, and ESPN. My favorite is espn, my least favorite was yahoo.

I like Yahoo and ESPN...FWIW I ran a fantasy football leage on here last year where everyone put in 10 bucks (I think we did yahoo). I collected all the money and had it sent out the day after the championship...it's pretty easy if you trust the people. We had email and phone contact available though and just had our team names as our TD names to make it easier. I'd honestly trust most of the people that have been on Saints talk for awhile with 20 bucks or so without thinking twice....if we wanted to do more I'm sure we could figure something out (multiple people holding a fraction of the pot or something like that). We had a scoring system that seemed to be pretty popular last year. I'll look it up and post it after work on Wednesday.

yeah for sure i trust everyone mentioned bu these n00b's idk them unles they have a regular that can vouch for them.
i say we do $20.00 winner take all. lets try and get 12 peeps or 10 whatever ya'll want. and for the sake of arguing we'll do espn, bc no one has said anything negative about it.

I'm all for winner take all...the only other scenario is maybe second place gets his money back. If you wanted to sweeten it you could also charge like a buck a transaction or something similar... ESPN was what my other league was in and it was fine.
eta: its definitely better with 12 people I feel
2 divisions of 6; 6 make the playoffs with top 2 getting a bye...gives value to reg season and total points often act as tiebreakers

$20 winner takes all sounds good to me. I think we should get at least 12 people. If we can't find 12 on here, which I don't see why we shouldn't be able to, I'm sure one of us could find a few friends.

Just wanted to know the set up ahead of time. I realize that it is super early to go over all of this, but I wanted to know how to value players. These are the rules that we play with in one of my work leagues.
ETA: I am not trying to set the rules or anything. Just giving a preview of the settings I am going by in another league and wondering what differences there will be. Also, can anyone see the settings above? Not sure if others have access to my work league page.
