Thoughts on Tua as a QB1

The guy is just sitting there undrafted after others are taking defenses. Miami's offense with those weapons and possibly adding JT. As long as he's healthy I'm thinking top 5 QB

That said, I’ve been finding myself with a lot of Geno/Tua and Cousins/Tua combos. Saves an early pick for the skill positions, still gives you top 5 potential when Tua is healthy, and gives a top 10 floor when he’s not.
I’ve liked going that route way more than Mahomes/Allen/Hurts in the third

12 team league, sure. In a 10 team league he's probably on the borderline. Pretty much every 'expert' ranking I've seen has him in the 10-12 range.
In a 10 team league f you miss a top 8 QB then I could see rolling with him as your starter but also having another viable option (like Rodgers, Geno, Cousins) given his injury history. If you play in a league with a shallow bench this strategy comes with opportunity cost of finding a high-upside RB or WR to stash.

I think you can survive if the rest of your team is good enough. Jared Goff is another good late option. Also contrary to popular belief I believe Jordan Love may surprise some people. Christian Watson and Romeo Doub take another step forward this year.

I like Tua as long as you pick a quality backup with a decent floor. You may be picking qbs with back to back picks but at least they are late picks. It's not a bad plan this year.
Unfortunately, my remaining two drafts are loaded with Bama fans so someone will take him earlier than I'd be willing.

I’m in a 14 team league and grabbed him as my backup to Jeaux.
