10 team standard league. I would get Evans. My team now:

Herbert
Zeke, Ekeler, Jacobs, Etienne, Mattison
Diggs, Dionte Johnson, Juju, Devonta Smith, Lockett, Garrett Wilson
Ertz, Knox

The other franchise is in HUGE need of a RB and my WRs aren't great. It would make my starting lineup better, but that's assuming Etienne isn't vultured by Robinson and that Jacobs does well. Should I?

You would be leaving yourself thin at RB which is a volition position. Mattison is only good if (when) Cook goes down but as soon as Cook is healthy , he is back to bench.

Zeke will lose touches to Pollard. Ekeler gets injured. Etienne won’t be a full workload back when Robinson is healthy.

Lol. Come on baw. This is a smash accept whether he’d be “thin” at RB or not. Especially in a 10 team league where waivers will have useful guys every week

Hell, if you’re terrified of only having 4 RBs or whatever, just trade Jacobs for Evans and then flip Evans for a better RB than Jacobs

I have this exact same thought process, no matter how deep I am at RB. RB is a very difficult thing to get out of me most of the time.

Pick up Zamir White and make the deal if he is available.

The cut Drake because White is there.

Didn’t see he wants Mattison too. Is that enough to be a deal breaker?

Everything you’re saying applies to Jacobs right now as well. All indications and reports are that LV will be a RBBC.

Evans is the best player in the trade by a decent margin. OP, you should always take the best player in the trade.

Evans is hurt too much for a RB1 so what other WR does he have or try to send Etienne instead

Well, Jacobs isn’t a RB1.

The guy is being offered a low end WR1 for a low end RB2, who’s his 3rd RB.

What am I missing here?

ETA: Apparently I missed you claiming a player who has missed 7 games in 8 seasons is “hurt too much”.

What a dumb statement.

The question is, “is Etienne gonna be that good?” Also, “is Zeke gonna be worth a damn?”

Also, Jacobs numbers weren’t stellar last season, but they were decent.

Let’s say all three end up mid range RB2s. One of them is going to be sitting on your bench no matter what. Meanwhile, Evans would be an every week start.

You’re overthinking this.

We all would have laughed at someone for picking Jacobs over Evans. Take the trade.

You’re getting a trade offer of a 2nd/3rd rounder for a 5th rounder when no meaningful news has happened since your draft. Take the damn gift lol

Wtf does this even mean? You do realize Jacobs has missed more games than Evans has the last two years, right?

ETA: I went back and looked. Jacobs has missed 6 games through 3 seasons. Evans has missed 7 games his entire career (8 seasons). So, seriously, what the frick are you even talking about?

The Raiders obviously don't want Jacobs ... why should you?

Accept this trade IMMEDIATELY.

Evans is a lot better and like someone said earlier if you're worried about RB, you can trade Evans for someone better than Jacobs.

I’d accept immediately especially considering Jacobs is in position that is vulnerable
