Who would you bench him for?

You're getting snide remarks because you're bragging about getting lucky after making a poor decision to start ridley over Allen.

I don’t let predictions that haven’t been true, keep me from making rational decisions. Like they say at the casino, “scared money never wins”. I’m not scared to make a decision, especially when they are supported by facts. I have some very capable players who have been more consistent point wise this season.
Keep doing you, brah. Start Sterling Shepard over Allen because the matchup is better. You got this

Didn’t say who I was starting over him. I could sit Manny Sanders or Ridley.

Wasn’t bragging about it. Just mentioning it, because it’s uncommon to sit a usual WR1. Also, because not everyone is a follower and some people may feel indifferent about starting a particular player. Just because a guy is projected 100 yds and a TD every week, doesn’t mean it happens. In Allen’s case it has NOT happened more times than it has this season.

Again, he may have the best game of his career, and I still never said I was sitting him 100%.

I’ve been playing this since the 90’s. The fact is most of this game is luck. The websites do all the work for people nowadays. You don’t even have to watch football to play now.
I watch all 4 games that are on TV on Sundays and glance at my cpu during the day to keep up with the other games. So I’m not just pulling a name out of arse, and saying SIT someone over a no name player. Stats don’t lie and what Gyno posted has put more thought into my future decision. Although, I believe that the other guys I have may be on his list higher.

Allen has been disappointing. I don't blame you for benching him or at least thinking about benching him. I have the following receivers on my team, Allen is number 6 in terms of points scored.

Antonio brown
Emanuel sanders
John brown
Tyler Boyd
Jarvis Landry
Keenan Allen
Julian Edelman

I took brown and Allen with my first two picks. This league gives bonus points for long scoring plays and I was picking late in the draft so most of the good running backs were taken.

I've tried trading for a running back but so far no takers. Even texted the league asking for someone to offer a trade and got nothing. So now I'm sitting at 1-4 and I can definitely say that a couple of those losses were because of Allen.

There’s a big picture here y’all are missing

If ya ain’t gonna start Allen you should trade him, bc there’s a guy in your league who will take him

I've tried, I've continued starting Allen though because I figure he's going to eventually start putting up the points. I was just pointing out that Allen had been disappointing so I understand wanting to sit him.

But I've texted the league asking them for a trade since my previous attempts were all declined.

Actually I did get a trade offer, gio Bernard for Nyheim Hines. I don't think that makes me any better.

There is a guy in that league that is bad at receiver and pretty strong at RB. I'd like to offer him something for dalvin cook. Do you think I could just go with Keenan for cook?

I think better days are ahead for Allen. Rivers is balling out this year.

I think so too. I'm just saying that the guy isn't crazy for starting someone over him right now. If I had been starting John brown and Emanuel sanders over him this season I probably would have a better record.

I'm sure by the end of the season he'll be back up in the top 10.

Anyone think Alfred blue is the starter again this week? He has outperformed miller all year.

Allen was at 74 PPR points through 5 games last season

He’s at 75 PPR points through 5 this year

Allen finished WR3 overall last year

Can’t drop 25 points every game. You got trust the process, the data is lining up

Miller was supposedly healthy enough to play last week. But I think they would most likely split the carries pretty evenly. That's the talk in Houston at least.

I understand. And maybe it's got more to do with the fact that he keeps getting projected all these points and is coming up way short that is influencing me.

Like I said I was planning to hold on to him, but I really need a running back.

Gyno,

Who do you like of these WR's going forward? Pickings are slim but drafting Hogan and Baldwin has put me very weak at WR.

Would you drop Hogan for any of these guys? 14 team .5 PPR

Fitzgerald
Enunwa
K. Cole
Callaway
K. Stills
R. Anderson

All those guys are rostered in my 14-team PPR league and Hogan isn't.

I don’t believe any of those guys are worth anything, including hogan

If I had to pick one I’d pick Anderson and hope he can build upon last week.

Yeah well most were just dropped on today's waiver. I stupidly held on to Hogan to see if some weird phenomenon would happen when Edelman got back . But really there weren't many options to pickup anyway.

This is where I'm at as well. Picked Anderson up this morning. Also think Christian Kirk is an interesting stash as well if he's available.

I picked him up in a league. Gonna give him some time to develop with Rosen. Surely he will have game with more than 10-15 completions
