they're making a big deal about his new trainer. Tom Brady's guy.

Good for him, but I'm not buying, at least not until I have my starting spots filled.

Obviously Calvin is more gifted, hes an alien

but DT isnt far behind.... 6'3" 225, 4.3 and can go up and get anything

The biggest knock on him coming out was route running, but hes improved greatly in that area since Peyton got there.

Theyre 1A-1B for me

Tier 1
Calvin Johnson
Demaryius Thomas

Tier 2
Brandon Marshall
AJ Green

Then there's everyone else.

He had 105 catches in a role that has proven to produce 100+ catches. He's in his full second year as starter. Yet every other receiver is gonna get better, but the one who has done it needs things to happen for him to get his? I don't get it?

From a production standpoint sure, he up there, but talent-wise I don't even have him in my top 5.

Calvin, Green, Julio, Dez, Fitz, Marshall, Gordon and Andre are all easily more talented IMO. I think I'd also put Reggie Wayne ahead as well. That 9 right there.

Now, DT88 is a great player and I love his play. But I feel he's being made to look way better because of Peyton.

ETA: this is all from a real life standpoint. In Fantasy DT is easily a top 2-3 WR, because of his situation, talent, etc.

it seemed a lot of his playing time was coming by default.

This is what I remember. The rookies and Edlelman were the only healthy receivers and Brady didn't trust the rookies after they struggled at the start of the year. I think it was the second game when it was raining so hard and he had 13 catches, but only 78 yards. Those were tough times. An improved Patriots offense is likely going to involve less Eldelman IMO.

I never said he wasn't, I just think the WRs I listed are more talented than him. Not a knock on Thomas, I think he's great, there are just a few WRs I'd for sure take first in real life.

He only had that role since everyone was hurt. He doesn't have the same role this year unless the sane circumstances play out this year

I didn't say any WR was going to get better except for Dobson. WR make their biggest progression in year 2

Are you thinkinh 85/1100/6?

Yes

They are fricked if Edelman has a season like 2013. It's no coincidence Brady was terrible w Edelman as his #1 option. He's the equivalent of a 3 yd and a cloud of dust RB. He's a WR plodder

Although he's a TE...Jimmy Graham would be a better pick than most of that group (excluding Calvin)

He's gonna have a monster year
