I had an opportunity to go work on this project but decided not to take it. Glad I didn't go...Looks like it's gonna be a nightmare by the time it's all said and done.

Dammit, Rummy. I'm flying to New Orleans tomorrow with a stop over in Memphis. Are my airports going to be under water or what?
My first stop is Minneapolis, so I'll be sure to blame them for all this.

I dont know why, that almost came off sounding like a :notsureifserious:
Regardless of what your company is doing, looks like all work is done for now to me! Unless they like building underwater

Hey, ice, can you pull today's image and throw it in the mix?
I'm stuck on the runway in Dallas and can't do it.

So it appears this project will have change orders for both too little and too much water. Only in construction.
It sounds too

Can you imagine adding another 2.5 feet if Morganza does not open?

That picture of the St. Louis Cathedral is photoshopped right?
It isnt that close to the river is it, and besides theres a huge wall in front of the river, right?

no, it's close to the river, you just can't see the park and all down lower, if you look closely you can make out Andrew Jackson's statue there in the middle of the square.

From today by River Road...a police officer drove by and said "Please get off of the levee" with his loudspeaker
but I snapped a few pics:
