In my experience, the better food these days is at Couchon, so I'll vote Couchon.

Couchon should have been seeded higher IMO. It's a shame this match up was so early.

I agree. It was a struggle to get Cochon in at all.

unfair match up....I love Couchon's but really...matching it up aginst Galatoire's?

Totally an unfair match up. But I vote for Couchon, if you do the following:
Order everything on the “small plates” and “boucherie” sections of the menu and share with the tables, pass the plates around, tell the waitstaff to send them out a few at a time so you don't get bombarded. It's about 13-14 separate dishes, so 4 people will get a couple of bites of everything, and you’ll have eaten just about every different part of the pig except the oink. Also ask for their homemade moonshine, it's not on the menu.

Galatoire's though the quality has gone down over the last ten years IMO
