I couldn't find this thread. I was scanning for FBD at the start of the thread. ACBW threw me. Had to use the search function. But rest easy, I found it,

went with the stout. pretty good considering its not really my style didnt realize how strong it is. gonna be drunk if i drink a few of these

This is my FBD & SBD. Its good, but I dont like it as much as Old Rasputin. I haven't tried the Brooklyn BCS yet, but I am getting some this weekend. If it is as good as advertised on this board, maybe it will replace Old Rasputin as my favorite RIS.

Both are stouts. The Stone I assume?
Yes, 10.5% ABV. You aren't in Kansas anymore!

You are correct. I was thinking Old Rasputin. I am familiar with both and just had a brain malfunction.

It may be getting scarce on the shelves. I have a stash if you can't find any.

Bottles say winter availability and I've read only available October - March. I guess they are making enough now to last well into the summer. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I hope this thread isn't to blame for the rampant alcoholism on TD.

Good call. Pat poured the last pint out of the Southern Gentleman keg for me. Pretty tasty. Then had the Abita seasonal, which wasn't quite as good but still one of their better offerings for my taste.

ru, I still have the Bells for you and KJ. I have a son that's fully funded a wing at BR Orthopedic so I feel your pain. Literally.

ETA: nightcap of Jefferson 18 yo Presidential Select at my river place. Life is good.
