Fans in here. If so what are you drinking? Just picked up a bottle of 2016 chateau suduiraut. Also had a 10 year tawny from Quinta das carvalhas that was really good

Am I the only person who can't not think of him if anyone ever mentions Sauterne Wine?

I love both. I don't drink them super regularly enough though

The last time I had a Sauternes it was a Guiraud, quite good. Never had a d'yquem but I'd love to
Port believe it or not the Costco ruby port is decent for the low price. There's nothing wrong with Carvalhas for regular at home drinking.

That d’yquem is higher than giraffe pussy. I will get it one day. I’ll have to check that out from Costco. I’ve had some of the Kirkland higher tier wines that were actually decent.

Yes. I love them both.
I visited Cadillac, France in the Bordeaux region last year and we explored Sauternes country and toured and had a tasting at one of the wineries. Great stuff.
They showed us how two rivers come together there. Since they come from two different sources and the temperatures are different, morning fog is the result. This is how the noble rot is created.

I have vintage ports from 1980, 1994, 2007 and 2017 and I cant bring myself to open them. I know the 80 should be opened and possibly the 1994.
