You don't have to buy the individual pods if you didn't want to. Buy one of the refillable cups that allow you to put your own blend in.

Where do you buy the refillable cups?

Can get the refillable cups (called "my kcup") anywhere they sell the brewers or on line, but I think they suck and take out the convienve factor, have one but only used it once

Thanks, Tigerpaw. Last night I ordered a Keurig online. Have heard nothing but good things about them.

Whatever you do, make sure you register it online. My wife got a Keurig for christmas last year and we used it all winter for coffee and hit chocolate. It sat all summer, and when I tried to make a cup of coffee last weekend it wouldn't work. Customer service was fantastic (sent us a new unit since it was still under warranty) but I was glad I had registered it. I like mine and have no complaints about the coffee it makes, but then again, I don't drink alot if coffee so my opinion may not count.

I've been having mine for 2 years now. I use it very often. I still haven't desalinized it, or whatever its called. Where you pour vinegar in there to break down the calcium deposits, basically cleaning it.

May do that when i get home.

But yeah, the convenience factor is awesome. Also, there is no cleanup. Just put the cup in, select a cup size and press a button.

My only problem, is that community doesn't make a K-cup.

I emailed Community's customer service dept about this a few months ago and they told me it was "in development" but didn't have an exact time frame for it to be out. I wish CDM would do the same.

Picked uP a box of Tully's Kona Blend at the store yesterday, just to try something new. Not too shabby. I'll probably buy it again.

The Kona's are one of my go to's, but they are hard to find this year secondary to a shortage.

Others that I really like are caribou Mahogany, it is a good dark roast without the bite at the end

and believe it or not Folgers black silk is great

The Kona Blend K cups are solid. I went to a Tully's in Seattle, and it was arguably the best cup of coffee I've ever had.

Re: K Cups in general, it's a shame that speculators blew up the price of coffee last year. K Cups basically doubled in price. I have a My K Cup, but I have to clean it daily, and it's as big of a pain as just brewing coffee. I'm back to Mr. Coffee.

My wife works as a dialysis nurse and has to be at work at 4:30 on the mornings she works. She loves the Kuerig because it only takes about 15 seconds for a hot cup and she does not have to make a full pot in the Bunn.
I also like the fact that you can make a fresh cup any time you care for one.
I think I'll make one now and top it with a little Bailey's for the hell of it.

I saw this in the store and wanted to try it but the name "Folgers" just made me not do it.
