Atomic Burger on Burbank is one of the most unfortunate locations to open a local fast food restaurant. Smack dab in the middle of Chick-fil-A and Whataburger. I'm going to start a GoFundMe to move them to Perkins or somewhere else.

Every time something new announces openings there, I get all excited.. and then it's something I don't care about at all.

Did you know they are currently planning to open FOUR coffee shops in that center? Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Dutch Bros Coffee, and 7 Brew. Mind you, CC's already exists in there.

I get that college students will utilize a coffee shop or two, but do we need 5 in the same strip center?

Not a real estate expert by any stretch but, in my experience, landlords are more than reluctant to oversaturate a type of business in their property due to higher odds of tenant failure. And, it's not uncommon for the original tenant to negotiate an exclusivity clause in the lease.

Some odd things going on there.

That was exactly my thoughts when I saw the article. Seems odd that both the landlord and the existing coffee tenants are just letting this happen without fuss.

Atomic Burger on Burbank . . .

Needs to reduce their prices. It's a tight race with Cane's on which one is more over priced.

Paying Raising Cane's prices for a burger that doesn't beat Five Guys is probably why.

Had the Jamburger last Friday, me and some Dr in scrubs were the only two people inside for 25 minutes at 1PM, and they only had two drive thru customers during that span. I worry for them. Seems to have less traffic than when first opened.

Great burgers, solid fries, great sauces, great shakes..high prices. It's not better than Five Guys though similarly priced. On equal footing to Shake Shack. But, I prefer it to Freddie's, Whataburger.

Whataburger coming to build right next door after Atomic being there first, an absolute nut crusher, even more so than also McDs move from nearby. And being next to Chick-Fil-A.

They need to put one Prairieville or Airline/Seigen/etc.

Love the Jamburger and their shakes are THE best in town

But Whataburger and CFA get all the traffic. I'm actually kind of surprised it hasn't closed already.
