Maybe not, but she's in a bind. Won't hurt to call to try and please the bride as best she can at the last minute with the requirements she was given.

This is exactly what happened to my niece about 3 weeks ago. The bridesmaid who was to arrange the meals for the bachelorette weekend didn't do it and called my niece on a Wed to get reservations for Friday and Saturday night meals. They wanted inexpensive or a variety of prices for Friday night, casual, and a nicer meal for Saturday night. There were 11 girls. I got reservations at Mandina's for Friday night. They took the streetcar there and back and then hit the FQ after dinner, so it was no big deal that it was down Canal St. a bit. Got them reservations at Mr. B's for Saturday night.
