Beef bones - where to buy?

I’m planning on making a pho this weekend to have for the (hopefully) cold weather coming up. One thing I will need is beef bones. I’ve never bought them or even looked for them. Any suggestions? Some videos I have seen show people getting them at the Asian Supermarket which I plan on going to (off Sherwood/Florida). But a friend said I could get them at most grocery stores. Is that true? I guess I’ll make a run tomorrow to look at Albertson’s and a couple other nearby places but I’m not sure if they will have them. Just hoping someone had a go-to place. Maybe Iverstines? Just don’t want to pay top dollar for bones but I heard they have gotten expensive (like everything else).

I've tried several supermarkets but with them no longer being real butchers who break down whole animals, there's very little bones to be had. They get all their meat in vacuum sealed packages and just part it out from there.
I've gotten bones from Tag's Meat Market in Chalmette before but when all is said and done, it just about isn't worth it. Years ago butchers would just give away the bones and were happy to be rid of them. Last time I got them for around $1 a lb. and 10 lbs. of bones when seasoned, roasted and then boiled to make a beef stock just isn't practical.
The last few times I've made a beef stock was when I got large cuts of meat bone-in and untrimmed. I make stock with the bones and tallow with the fat. I have 2 qts. of beef tallow in my fridge right now.

Do you know the name? I know of the Asian Supermarket on the corner of Sherwood and Florida. I googled and saw something called Vinh Phat. There are a few in that area.

I am going to call them tomorrow but I had a really sketchy run in with them once that left a bad taste in my mouth. I went in to buy some filets and they had about 5 left on the tray that were all so small. Asked if they had more, told no. Bought some really tiny filets and got in my car. I sat there and just felt wrong about it. Walked back in and they had refilled the tray with a whole new selection of filets, most of them much larger. They just wanted me to buy those small ones no one else wanted. Haven’t trusted them since.

I make pho all the time and used to get my bones at Hong Kong market. But ever since I found out about Kassel International market, it’s my go to spot for beef bones. Cut fresh everyday and at 99 cents a pound, you can’t beat that. I can make a whole pot with $2 worth of bones.

There’s a Hong Kong market and across the street is the Asian Supermarket. Vinh Phat is the OG but it’s dying a slow death.

Where is this at? In the Baton Rouge area or are you somewhere else? Nothing came up when I googled Kassel.

Vietnamese store on Florida Blvd between Little John and Flannery.
ETA: at most places they're usually with their frozen meats, not at the meat counter itself.

Thanks. I didn’t even consider the store next to Bao because it is so small. I live much closer to there so I will try them first. I just worry about that place because there have been many times they didn’t even have something like Thai basil which I consider a pretty basic staple.

They also have fresh hot pita bread made daily in warmers by the front door. It's really good.
