Personally can't stand TJ Ribs. Been there once (on an invite). Never will go back. Don't see the hype about the place. I got ribs and chicken. Nothing special.

I forget the name but that new place on Government has a great pulled pork sandwich.

TJ Ribs is ok, but I think it's vastly overrated

Luckily I don't eat the flies.
Btw, it may sound convenient for this story, about a month or two ago a large group of us went to Franks for hangover food after a night out. Seemed like the waiting area was packed for 11am, especially because there were open tables everywhere.
After waiting a few minutes a friend went to piss and there were signs not to use the water because they had a "problem." No big deal, bathroom water problem, it happens.
On the way back he asked a bus boy if the kitchen had water.....Nope.
So they had customers waiting and still serving without running water. When we realized what was happening we left to see the water main on the side of the building gushing water out.

Only decent thing at Voodoo is the corn pudding
That corn pudding is good stuff.
When the super nice big black dude named Bryan ran the Podnuh's on Sherwood, I'd eat there a lot and the BBQ was real good...When he left, it just wasn't the same.

Been a few years since I ate at the one on Burbank/Gardere, but I thought it was moderate.
