There is zero culinary creativity going on within Metairie, brether.

I'll eat at Station 6 anytime I can get in without waiting.

Desi Vegas is good (if not very creative).

Austin's is pretty good, the rest meh...

ETA: What is this Yakuza House you speak of? MUST try new Sushi restaurant. (I have been trapped in the Akira AYCE trap for a while now)

What age did you stop liking Italian food and poboys?

I like both. They just aren’t unique in anyway to metro New Orleans

If Po Boys aren’t unique to Metro New Orleans nothing is unique.

They are unique to someone from Kansas.

Not to everyone that lives in south Louisiana

Well that’s different than them being unique to Metro New Orleans.

But something doesn’t have to be unique to be good.

Something has to be unique to get me to drive to Metairie to eat though.

We’ve circled back & the point wasn’t that advanced to begin with, Sammy.

Tessie's Place. A block from Airline and a block from Clearview.

Best Shrimp Remoulade you will get anywhere. Not a bad item on the menu. Been going there for 43 years. I am 43.

I’ve had the pizza at Gendusas and thought it was really good. Spaghetti and meatballs were also good. Meatballs are the size of softballs.

Churros Cafe on Kingman in Metairie.

Was recently turned on to this place from a friend. Great Cuban food, friendly staff...great weekday lunch spot.

Love this place. A hidden gem in Metairie.
