I agree with different styles. I think my favorite is Buffalo style pizza. (I have family up there)

Favorite of all time was Lou Malnati's in Chicago. 2nd place is Prince's in NYC. I've tried most of the pizza places in Chicago and I always go back to Lou's. Only tried a few places in NYC and Prince's was at the top of my list. Tried a ton of pizza in Italy (throughout the country) and it all sucked.

Man I'll tell ya. The crust on those rectangular totino's frozen pizzas is the best.

No shite.

It's hard to compare pizza across different styles; different styles are different types of food, IMO.

Yes, this. I eat pizza everywhere I go, and I go lots of places.

--best neapolitan, in Naples: Sorbillo
--best neapolitan, in Italy but outside of Naples: Pepe in Grani
--best neo-neapolitan in the US: tie between Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix and Tony's Pizza Napoletana, North Beach in San Francisco; runner up to Mozza in LA
--best sfincioni, thick Sicilian style: Antica Focacceria San Francesco, Palermo
--best Roman style pizza bianca or pizza rossa: Roscioli, Rome
--Best Roman style thin crust: Pizzeria ai Marmi, Trastevere, Rome
--best NY slice in Manhattan: Joe's, on Carmine St.

Oh, Lord...my list could go on and on. Best Cal-Ital, best Detroit style...and then the sub-list of "best X pizza near me right now" (that list includes Ancora, newly opened Bonci, and Pizza Delicious)

The only sort of pizza I don't like is deep dish Chicago style....it's a casserole, to me.

This.
I also don’t like that it’s acceptable to use a knife and fork

But at least the two cities can both agree that pineapple shouldn’t be a topping

They're squares. Just had to defend their honor.

I've had alot of very good pizza from places in NYC etc

But the only pizza that stands out in my mind was a pizza I got from a place in Oakland called Zacharys

I ate a lot of pizza when I went to Italy, but a local from Florence that i know here in the states told me a about a place off the beaten path ( I dont remember the name) but it was unbelievable. Crunchy outside crust, chewy inside. No one spoke english.. real deal

Slab Town Pizza in Cashiers, NC is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had. Honorable mention goes to Giordano’s Chicago Deep Dish pizza.

I've had a lot of good pizza so I'll keep it to just recent good pizza.

Ken's Artisan Pizza in Portland was great....get the New Yorker. Also, Golden Boy in San Francisco is one of the best slices I've had.

I think time and nostalgia has clouded my judgement a bit, but to this day I can't think of anything better than the old Domino's deep dish pizzas.

I'm not talking about the pan pizza crap they have now, I'm talking about the deep dish pizzas that they probably stopped making 8 or so years ago.

Like I said, I think time has probably clouded my judgement, but little me was never more happy then when my parents would order one of those.

I can still remember what that toasted crust tasted like.
