The old cajuns around Abbeville swear by that stuff. Its like tongue, kidney, etc... I cant eat that shite.

I picked up some cracklins at Billy's last week and they were very good. They fried them differently, the skins had some crunch but I didn't feel like I was going to break a tooth on them.

I think Don's boudin is better.

Aren't we just splitting hairs when it comes down to whether or not we think Billy's, Best Stop or Don's is the best boudin that is readily available? I like Best Stop, but would also buy Don's or Billy's with no problem.

Yes we are. To me, boudin is kind of like beer. All are good and fairly similar. Billy's is new on the block and some posters are trying to get him some free advertising.

I especially like the pepper jack boudin balls and their seafood boudin. I was happy as a pig in you know what when they opened on the highway and I didn't have to risk a ticket in Krotz Springs to get a hookup.

It's really personal preference, there's no right or wrong....hell when we get boudin we get Don's and Best Stop because i like one and my wife likes the other.
