have had nothing but great exp at burgersmith. fat cow has been terrible and over priced both times i have been.
the soggy bun is an anomaly. i have never had an issue with that going there. im sure if you get tons of cheese and sauce on the burger, the bun is going to get soggy.
oh and bun>ciabatta bread

I personally was unimpressed by the over cooked dry meat I was served at Burgersmith.
You realize that unlike all of the other burger places I've been to, you actually get a say on the burger being cooked to a certain degree
Could ask for it rare if you wanted.
When ever my bread is soggy, it is with meat juices, which is perfectly fine by me.
Hell, I compress my burgers I hand make to release some of those juices myself.

The one time I went to Burgersmith (in BR) they cooked the burger just right after I asked for medium rare. The fries were well cooked but the seasoning looked like pizza-style crushed red pepper. I was expecting a little bit more in that regard. The burger was tasty though, and having local beer options was nice.

The pictures of the burgers and fries from those two places have been less than appetizing.

Do you realize when I went, the waitress did not ask me how I wanted my burger cooked? If they are cooked to order, perhaps they should ask.

tried the lafayette location. it wasnt bad, but i prefer the burger at Pete's. I thought it was better than southside bakery (the bread there rocks, but the burger aint a burger, people. its a meatloaf sandwich!) and, i was hungover when i ate at judice inn so i cant recall if it was good or i just liked the grease soppin up the alcohol.

look at my pic again, the cheese was supposed to be bleu, but it was a white cheese. The bun is soggy from the blood, there is no red sauce on it. The burger was worse than a 99cent burger at a fast food place. If I'm in BR craving a burger, I'm going to curbside. These BS chains can't do it right either.

I've liked every experience I've had at Burgersmith, but I only eat sliders (I hate thick meat.. that's what she said, I know) so I don't have these meat juice/bun sog problems in my life.

I've been to Burgersmith many times, and the last time I was there, I also got a bleu cheese burger similar in style to yours. It looked nothing like your pic and was delicious.

Did you make anyone aware of the problem?
