also, is french press's burger worth trying?

Yes, if you got the $$$...
And if you like bland food, which is what I've had in my experience at French Press.

I've been to Burgersmith many times, and the last time I was there, I also got a bleu cheese burger similar in style to yours. It looked nothing like your pic and was delicious.
Well, the pics I gave you here were of bot Burgersmith and Fat Cow. Both ordered the same way, one Thursday and the other Friday. It's pretty clear from the looks of them which one wins and whch one fails miserably. I did it to compare the two and post my findings here. I had no preconceived nothions of either, just one versus the other. The burger I got from Burgersmith was not only not temped properly but cold in the middle, even after resting on the way home. It was one big sloppy mess. Fat Cow, although they failed on burning the fries, did manage to temp it right and the ingredients are obviously far superior to what I got from Burgersmith.
But I'll tell you what I'll do. I will give them one more shot and submit pics tomorrow evening. Same way I get my burgers, cooked medium and dressed with the basics. We'll see. Maybe they had an off night. Maybe not.

Pete's is the best in town, by far.
as for burgersmith, it sounds like a ridiculous gimmick. "our crackhead that was working at burger king last week will hand forge you a masterfully crafted hunk of bland shite"
oh and it looks like their website is dead.

I've been to Burgersmith twice and both times it was very good. Nothing at all like the pictures posted.
However, it doesn't hold a candle to Curbside.

I love Burgersmiths' fries and prices, but if you're just looking for a good burger I'd go elsewhere. I've been there twice and both times the burgers have been overcooked.

I might be one of the few but when ordering a burger I want a greasy sloppy burger that if I put it down I know it will fall apart. I understand if I order a plan basic burger I want it to stand together through the entire meal but when I order it with any condiment I want, bacon, cheese, sauteed onions, etc I want that thing juicey. Grant it I did find the bun to dissolve faster compared to a place like Hawks Nest but I liked my burger and loved the garlic parm fries and the beer selection was top notch.

The best IMO.
Actually, no. If you go to Broussard, there's a place called Cafe Kimball's off of Hwy 90 and they have something called the Aussie Burger. Huge amount of meat, 2 fried eggs, cheese, bacon, grilled onions. Best burger ever.
