I've eaten there at least 5 times and the food and service has been good every time. The service there is better than a majority of the places in Baton Rouge in my opinion.

Places that don't serve me up a borderline burned crust on a bone dry pizza.
Places that act like they have something to lose if the food and service are horrible.
Look, I NEVER call out restaurants, but this was HORRIBLE.

Dear California Pizza Kitchen,
I sincerely apologize for expecting the service and food not to suck at your restaurant. I accept responsibility for setting my own table and refilling my own drinks when at your restaurant. I completly concur that my waitress should disappear for ten minutes at a time, and have the bored, "can we get this over" attitude of a six dollar Bangkok hooker. I like my pizza to be dry and burned. All is well. Much success.

You get the frikkin picture huh?
I have been to California Pizza Kitchen two dozen times. Is it the greatest? No. Is it above average? Yes. Has the service sucked? Not in the 24 times I have been there at noon/happyhour/earlyevening/laternight. I always thought the service was a plus. The thin neopolitan crust (which you have too look and ask for) is top notch.
However I seem to think you really are that North Louisianaian, Sicilian named Johnny living in Monroe.
Frikkin fraud.
And don't give me anyting about spelling. Spell Check doesn't work on this computer and I am a lazy fat arse.

This is exactly how it was when i ate there about a year ago. I had a different waiter but the principal was the same. I literally hopped into the wait station grabbed dishes, silverware, and menus. I had a manager ask me if he could help me, and I said no I'll just help myself since 20 minutes had gone by and not a soul had even asked if we wanted water.
