We really loved Congregation Coffee and bought several bags for ourselves and for gifts. Sadly, I will never support them again after one of the gift recipients pointed out they support Planned Parenthood.

Chef, be careful of your words. Such callous remarks can come back to haunt you. If someone you hold dear should die - for any reason, thoughtless words would be cruel and unnecessary. Not to mention the business you will lose. Apparently you have taken care of that. We will never darken your door again.

You dine based on restaurant’s abortion rights stances?? If so, you wouldn’t have many places to go out to eat at.

The Just Cause flyer was posted on the previous page. Pretty much a who's who of current popular restaurants/chefs in NOLA.

Paging TulaneLSU,

Please go and give a review of Ancora and note “Dominos” is better. We would all love to see them melt online. Please do this for the sake of the FDB.

Yours,

Bc people on TD took the bait, which is likely what he wanted - a reaction from someone. Twitter is the worst, Garcia is an idiot, and anyone arguing with Garcia is equally idiotic.

Because he knows he can get away with it and his businesses won’t suffer in the slightest. One side can do this. The other can’t.

Meh, the other side can do it as well. It all matters who your patrons are.

Not really. Conservatives get actual media attention when they say something bad and get their lives ruined by the mob.

When liberals do this they get a few keyboard Warriors for a few days and then crickets.

Fatboy Pantry is still doing their thing as well.

I would say this is the closest recent parallel

Yeah, actually quite a few restaurants that I presume are liberal owned got outted by their own ilk during the BLM stuff earlier in the year...think they’re all doing fine.

Like I keep saying, whole thing is dumb. Are we really crying bc one side can do it but not the other? Wtf.

I frequent places owned by overtly liberal owners that actively support causes I don’t like.

Garcia has frequently crossed a line and this time went too far.

He probably thinks I am racist, or whatever, because of my political beliefs. But his greed drives him to still accept my money for a burger and bourbon from High Hat.

Petty on my part, but I see his greed for money outweighs his political beliefs. He is the the stereotypical large income greedy businessman that he probably rails against.

Someone should see if he took the PPP loan stuff.

I’m sure he did, and if he didn’t he probably will now on the second go round. Free money yo.
