My favorite nationally available coffee is Starbucks. They have good beans. I've tried a lot of the other grocery store variety and always come back to Starbucks. I work in shitty little towns mostly so grocery store variety is the only thing available.
When I am home, I buy whole beans from a local place that gets em from Big Bend roasters. I grind em at home right before putting em in the french press.
I like my coffee black and strong. I expect to get a buzz when I drink it. I drink 3-4 cups a day usually.

I like something that jumps out of the cup and slaps me awake first thing in the morning.
But for smooth drinking late morning, afternoon or after dinner, it's definitely ....

On a workday, I usually put down 3 or 4 cups black in the morning and another 1 or 2 after lunch. Generally, it's Deitrich's (a California brand, I believe).
On the weekends at home, I'll have about 3 cups of Community.
