Sorry for the confusion. It's a main course we shared with sides, snacks and small plates. It's under "for the table" on the menu and there's no price. It's market price. The 22 oz ribeye under it is $85.

ETA: We didn't pay close to $85. It may have been as high as $65, but I'm not sure it was even that high.

Much more reasonable. A whole fish dish being $85 is insane, which was my point. Mingo regrets the error of forgetting the autist and idiots need it explained to them like a kindergartener

You only eat the corn and potatoes at a crawfish boil?

Yes. Peche. Had the whole red fish and the tuna collar. Both some of the best fish ever.

Pompano and flounder are better whole.

Gris Gris on magazine serves a redfish courtboullion that’s delicious and I’m not a huge redfish fan

Whole broiled flounder is one of my favorite dishes.

You deserved to be made fun of.

I get the frustration but the reasoning is sound- those little flounder are getting swooped up in the shrimp nets as bycatch and die, either feed the sharks or sell it to restaurants for people to eat. I'm ok with it.

Edit- same for Gris Gris and their whole redfish. Those are small redfish that are taken on commercial shrimp boats as bycatch. You can either eat the Redfish Courtbouillon at Gris Gris or the toothless meth addict on the shrimp boat can feed it to the sharks following the boat.
