Being originally from Dallas I'm partial to Ninfa's. Tastes like home to me.

El Rancho on Florida and La Tiendita. Real Mexican food, owned by Mexican Families.

Can't remember what it's called, but it is on Coursey near Stumberg in a little strip mall.

It may have started in Houston but it was my Mom's favorite restaurant in Dallas (or was it Richardson?) back in the late 70's early 80's and we loved it!

Superior Grill
La Carretas
Mestizo's
Nifa's
My favorite of all was the Green Duck right out side of the North Gates. But they only lasted for a few months of 2002. Nothing better than seeing you guacamole or salsa made fresh to order. Was very good, but just didn't get the business. Maybe because the name had nothing to do with Mexican food and you wouldn't know it was a restaurant if you didn't go inside.

Is On The Border still open? I'd rather run across the interstate to go there!

One of these in BR would be awesome. They'd probably do great near Tiger Land.
A Chuy's would be good, too. One of my favorite non hole in the wall places in Texas.
