I pretty much stick to just cab's, and so I bought a bottle of Cocannon the other night for around $9.99 (which it said was $2 off the original price).
Anyways, I had 2 glasses last night, and was not impressed whatsoever. Anybody else tried Cocannon??

had it for the first time on New Years Eve. Was not impressed. The Red Diamond cab is just as good and 8 dollars a bottle cheaper

As crazy as this is, my wife loved a boxed wine from World Market. It was a 2005 Cab (Purple Box) and the 1.0L box was like $3.99 or $5.99. If it gets approval from the boss and is that cheap, it becomes my favorite.

I would also add some Bordeauxs, but their costs have pushed many of them, and their appelations, such as Mount Rothschilds, etc into more expensive range these past years due to weather, production, availability,etc..
Many good Aussie Syrahs can be had for cheap, look for bargains.
In the end, it always brings me back for bargain Cotes Du-Rhones and Neuf-Du-Papes.
In BR, try Mathernes and Marcellos when they do their sales. When in Houston, go to Specs downtown.

The Marques de C_______ something Rioja is really good. It has a red label. It's anywhere from 13-19 dollars.

has anyone had the Basket Case Cab? It is a Washington cab. The wife had a glass at Gino's on Tuesday night. I think it is like 12 bucks a bottle. Anyone know where I can buy it by the bottle in BR?
