My local Costco (SC) still sells it. Not sure why they all wouldn't. Weird.
If anyone has seen it in Baton Rouge lately, please tell me where to look.
Maybe a year ago, they moved it from the small, open air fridges in front of the rotisserie chicken area to the main fridges at the back of the store, but it's been months since I've seen it. I still see the ham and turkey in the same packaging like I said, and I can't imagine they separated the roast beef from its sibling meats, but I will definitely try to flag down a worker and ask next time.

Publix is overrated as frick
Compared to what?
In NOLA and BR, you’re either spending extra money at higher-end stores like Fresh Market, or wading through piles of trash, cigarette butts and crawfish tails as you go into the entrance of the local Rouse’s.
Publix is probably the best mix of quality and value of any chain in the south.

Are you talking freshly sliced or prepackaged? I'm pretty sure the prepackaged stuff still exists.
I was referring to what cuddlefish posted a picture of (prepackaged)

Locally we have Harris Teeter and Food Lion.
I don’t go to the Lion because most of them are run down.
I split between Publix and Harris Cheater, buying what’s on sale.
Both of them can be expensive if you don’t catch the sales, Publix tends to have better BOGO’s.

Cheap ham, Kraft single, bread slathered in mayo, cold a slightly soggy from the ice chest. It’s one of life’s little pleasures
Sam’s Black Forest Ham is the best bang for your buck. Good quality, and it’s $7 for 22oz ($5/lb). Their smoked turkey was really delicious, but they quit carrying it.
The Black Forest Ham is a great deal. I like the Black Pepper Turkey too.
